SLUDGES STOCKAGE AND DIGESTORS

Glass-fused-to-steel tanks are the best system for sludge storage. They are perfect for the storage of sludges coming from bovine and porcine farms, which can be used for biogas production. For this function we can use the plastic flat roof; it is not hermetic, but since there is no movement of the sludges inside, no odours are expelled.
Tanks with polyester roof are suitable for aerobic digestion of sludges, they are hermetic and resistant so they prevent any leaking of odours. The tanks with glass-fused-to-steel roof are the most suitable for anaerobic digestion processes. They can be designed to resist any kind of pressure. The coating with glass wool and waved panels to achieve thermic isolation is not difficult at all. |
